Frank Lanham begins his first season as an assistant coach for the St. Mary's women's basketball program in 2017-18. Lanham brings in valuable coaching experience gained at the high school level.
The Prince Frederick, Maryland, native coached the girls basketball team at North Caroline High School (2016) in Ridgely before mentoring the junior varsity basketball program at his alma mater, Calvert High School (2017). He also served as the assistant coach for the football programs at both high schools.
Lanham was a four-year letter winner in football as a wide receiver at Salisbury University. He graduated from Salisbury in May 2015 with a bachelor's in physical education and a certification in K-12.
He currently teaches at Great Mills High School in the Career and Technology Education department and coaches the wide receivers for the Hornet football program. Lanham lives in Lexington Park with his wife, Jess, who is the St. Mary's head field hockey coach, and their two dogs, Marley and Harper.
